A Standout Among Many
The photographer was able to capture approximately 19 species of hummingbirds on this trip, and in their opinion, the Green Thorntail was one of the best species. Green Thorntails are a special and striking species and for the many backyard birders who enjoy the backyard feeders and wish to see a Green Thorntail, they are a good example of why they are drawn to the hobby.
